FAQ
Questions?
We Have Answers

Latitude strives to provide quality service in each area of the Medevac industry. Part of this is giving our clients and our passengers answers to any questions they may have both before and after each flight. Below are some of the frequently asked questions we have had brought forward over time.

How many escorts/passengeres can fit on a flight?

Latitude has met industry standards in this for years by operating two Learjet 35 aircraft. These aircraft are able to carry up to 3 passengers while still carrying a patient. Typically this will include 2 medical crew and 1 escort, or a full medical team including a doctor/physician.

Latitude is also proud to have gone over and above industry standards by operating four Gulfstream G100 Astra SPX aircraft. Boasting the ability to carry up to 4 passengers while still carrying a patient, Latitude is now able to offer clients the option of up to 2 escorts with a standard medical team (RN/RT).

Can I bring all my luggage on an air ambulance flight?

Due to the nature of Medevac flights, luggage space is limited. Latitude is able to offer each passenger the ability to bring one carry-on and one checked bag, total. Size restrictions are as follows;

Carry-on Luggage
  • Max. Size: 22" x 9" x 15"
  • Max. Weight: 7kg
  • Eg. backpack, bag, small suitcase
Checked Luggage
  • Max. Size: 30" x 20" x 14"
  • Max. Weight: 23kg
  • Eg. medium size suitcase

How and when can I get in touch with you?

Our friendly and knowledgeable dispatch/customer service team is available to assist with any questions, concerns or requests 24 hours, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

Where are the areas you operate?

Latitude takes pride in being an international Medevac provider. This means we offer emergency medical transport services to patients worldwide, anywhere our services are needed. We have flown to over 120 countries and all continents except Antarctica. Our new Falcon 900B is capable of operation to Antarctica.

Will I be able to use the bathroom throughout the flight?

While the Learjet 35’s are not equipped with an onboard washroom, the remainder of the fleet offer washrooms for the convenience of our passengers.
