Latitude strives to provide quality service in each area of the Medevac industry. Part of this is giving our clients and our passengers answers to any questions they may have both before and after each flight. Below are some of the frequently asked questions we have had brought forward over time. Any other questions or queries can also be sent to our 24/7 customer service personnel by visiting the Contact Us webpage.

How many escorts/passengers can you fit on a flight?

Latitude has met industry standards in this for years by operating two Learjet 35 aircraft. These aircraft are able to carry up to 3 passengers while still carrying a patient. Typically this will include 2 medical crew and 1 escort, or a full medical team including a doctor/physician.
Latitude is also proud to have gone over and above industry standards by operating four Gulfstream G100 Astra SPX aircraft. Boasting the ability to carry up to 4 passengers while still carrying a patient, Latitude is now able to offer clients the option of up to 2 escorts with a standard medical team (RN/RT).

Can I bring all my luggage on a medevac/air ambulance flight?

Due to the nature of Medevac flights, luggage space is limited. Latitude is able to offer each passenger the ability to bring one carry-on and one checked bag, total. Size restrictions are as follows;

Carry-on baggage: (Maximum size & weight - 22 x 9 x 15 in. and 7 kg)
Examples: backpack, bag, small suitcase

Checked Baggage: (Maximum size & weight - 30 x 20 x 14 in. and 23 kg)
Examples: Medium size suitcase

Will I be able to use a washroom throughout the flight?

The Learjet 35 aircraft do not have an on-board washroom. However, another sought after feature Latitude's Gulfstream 100 aircraft offers to passengers is the on board washroom. With this great addition to the aircraft each passenger is able to use the washroom mid-flight if needed.
